Affiliate Program Terms
Effective Date: May 13, 2026
These terms govern your participation in the Sticksy Affiliate Program. By enrolling, you agree to these Affiliate Program Terms, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.
How the Program Works
The Sticksy Affiliate Program lets you earn commissions by referring customers to our website. You receive a unique affiliate link. When someone clicks your link and makes a qualifying purchase, you earn a commission on that sale.
Who Can Join
To participate, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
- Have an active website, blog, social media account, or other online platform.
- Provide accurate information when you apply.
- Not be a current Sticksy employee or an immediate family member of one.
We review all applications and may accept or reject them at our discretion.
Commission Details
Rate
You earn a 25% commission on the net sale amount of each qualifying purchase. The net sale amount is the purchase price minus any discounts, taxes, shipping charges, and returns.
Tracking
We use a 60-day cookie window. If a customer clicks your affiliate link and completes a purchase within 60 days, you receive credit for that sale — even if they do not buy right away.
What Counts as a Qualifying Purchase
A qualifying purchase is a completed, paid order placed by a customer who:
- Clicked your affiliate link within the 60-day cookie window.
- Completed checkout and payment.
- Did not return or cancel the order.
- Is not you, a family member, or anyone acting on your behalf.
Self-referrals and fraudulent orders do not earn commissions.
Getting Paid
Schedule
Commissions are paid monthly, approximately 30 days after the end of each calendar month. The delay accounts for potential returns and cancellations.
Payment Methods
We pay via PayPal or direct bank transfer (where available). You are responsible for providing accurate payment details and for any fees your payment provider charges.
No Minimum Payout
There is no minimum payout threshold. All earned commissions are paid on the regular schedule.
Taxes
You are responsible for all taxes on your affiliate earnings. Sticksy does not withhold taxes on your behalf. We may ask you to provide tax documentation before issuing payment.
What We Expect From You
As a Sticksy affiliate, you agree to:
- Promote Sticksy honestly and professionally.
- Clearly disclose your affiliate relationship as required by law, including the Competition Act (Canada) and applicable consumer protection rules.
- Only use marketing materials and messaging that are accurate and approved by Sticksy.
- Not make false or exaggerated claims about our products.
- Not send spam or use intrusive marketing tactics.
What You Cannot Do
The following will result in removal from the program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions:
- Self-referrals — purchasing through your own affiliate link or having friends and family do so on your behalf.
- Trademark bidding — bidding on "Sticksy" or related branded keywords in paid search ads without our written permission.
- Coupon abuse — distributing affiliate links through coupon or deal aggregator sites without prior approval.
- Cookie stuffing — using forced clicks, hidden iframes, or other techniques to artificially set tracking cookies.
- Misleading content — creating websites or social accounts that could be confused with official Sticksy properties.
- Objectionable content — placing affiliate links on sites containing illegal, hateful, defamatory, or explicit material.
- Competing ads — running paid advertising campaigns that directly compete with Sticksy's own campaigns.
Using Our Brand
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Sticksy name, logo, and approved marketing materials for the sole purpose of promoting Sticksy through the affiliate program. You may not modify our logos, register domain names or social handles containing "Sticksy," or imply any partnership beyond your affiliate relationship.
Ending Your Participation
You Can Leave Anytime
You can withdraw from the program at any time by notifying us or closing your affiliate account.
We Can Remove You
We may terminate your participation at any time, with or without cause. Reasons include but are not limited to: violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, inactivity for 12 consecutive months, or discontinuation of the program.
What Happens After Termination
- You must remove all Sticksy affiliate links and marketing materials from your platforms.
- Commissions earned on valid sales before termination will still be paid on the regular schedule.
- Commissions earned through fraud are forfeited.
Program Changes
We may modify these terms, commission rates, cookie duration, or any other aspect of the program at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the affiliate dashboard. Continued participation after changes are communicated means you accept the updated terms.
Limitation of Liability
The affiliate program is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about how much you will earn or that the program will continue indefinitely. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sticksy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the program. Our total liability is limited to the commissions paid to you in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Sticksy harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your participation in the program, your promotional activities, or your violation of these terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nova Scotia.
