This Acceptable Use Policy outlines what is and is not permitted when using Sticksy's website and services, particularly when submitting artwork or designs for custom printing. By using our services, you agree to follow this policy.
General Conduct
When using our website, you agree to:
- Use the site lawfully and in accordance with our Terms of Service.
- Provide accurate information when placing orders or creating an account.
- Not attempt to disrupt the operation of our website or interfere with other users' access.
- Not use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or interact with our website without our written permission.
Content You Submit
Sticksy allows you to upload your own artwork and designs for custom printing. You are solely responsible for the content you submit. The following types of content are prohibited and will not be printed:
Illegal Content
- Content that violates any applicable law or regulation, whether local, provincial, national, or international.
- Designs that promote or facilitate illegal activities, including drug manufacturing, fraud, or violence.
- Content that violates export controls, sanctions, or trade regulations.
Intellectual Property Violations
- Artwork, logos, images, or designs that infringe on the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of another person or entity.
- Counterfeit goods or designs intended to imitate branded products.
- Content you do not have the right or licence to reproduce.
If you are unsure whether your design may infringe on someone else's rights, we strongly recommend seeking legal advice before submitting it.
Hateful and Harmful Content
- Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Designs associated with hate groups or extremist organizations.
- Content that threatens, harasses, bullies, or intimidates any individual.
Explicit and Objectionable Content
- Pornographic or sexually explicit material.
- Content depicting the exploitation or abuse of minors in any form.
- Excessively violent or graphic imagery intended to shock or disturb.
Misleading Content
- Designs intended to impersonate another person, business, or government entity.
- Content that could reasonably be mistaken for official government documents, currency, identification, or security instruments.
- Fraudulent or deceptive material.
Our Right to Refuse
Sticksy reserves the right to refuse to print any design or cancel any order that we reasonably believe violates this policy, our Terms of Service, or applicable law. If we refuse or cancel an order for these reasons, we will notify you and issue a full refund for the affected items.
We are not obligated to review every submission before printing, and the fact that we printed a design does not mean we have approved or endorsed its content.
Reporting Violations
If you believe content on our website violates this policy, please let us know by contacting us at support@sticksy.ca. We take reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
Consequences of Violations
Violations of this policy may result in:
- Refusal to fulfill or cancellation of your order.
- Suspension or termination of your account.
- Reporting to appropriate law enforcement authorities where we believe illegal activity is involved.
Sticksy reserves the right to take any of these actions at our sole discretion.
