Build a chunky little harbour tug out of card. It has tires hung along its sides, a woven rope bumper on its nose, a winch and towing posts on the back deck, a lifeboat and a life raft up top, and a leaning yellow funnel with a flower badge.

Every part comes already cut out and scored, so there is no knife work. You fold, glue the labelled flaps and build it section by section: hull, deck details, cabin, wheelhouse, funnel, lifeboat and raft, mast, tires and bumper. Each part has its spot printed on the model, marked with its own letter. Before you close the hull, sign the builder’s plate that goes underneath.

In the box: 45 loose parts, already cut out and scored, on heavy cardstock printed in full colour, and a step by step picture manual in English and French.

You need: white PVA glue, a toothpick and a few evenings. Tweezers help with the small parts.

Finished size: 9.75 x 4.25 x 6.75 in. Level: hard. Contains small parts, best for ages 14 and up.
