Sticksy

What resolution should my artwork be?

300 DPI minimum — that's the sweet spot for sticker printing.

DPI stands for "dots per inch" and determines how sharp your printed sticker will look. Here's a quick breakdown:

  • 300 DPI or higher — ideal, produces crisp and detailed prints
  • 150–299 DPI — may be acceptable for larger stickers, but you might notice some softness
  • Below 150 DPI — likely to appear pixelated or blurry when printed

Pro tip: Higher resolution is always better. If you have the option, export your artwork at 300 DPI or above at the actual print size. Scaling a small image up to a larger size doesn't increase the true resolution—it just stretches the pixels.

If your artwork is lower resolution than recommended, we'll flag it during the proofing process so you can decide how to proceed.
