How do bleed and safe zones work?

Bleed is artwork that runs past the cut line. Cutting can drift by a tiny amount, so extending the background past the edge stops a thin white line from showing. The safe zone is a margin inside the cut line. Keeping text and important details there means a small shift won't clip them.

In the creator

There's no bleed to set up in the creator. On square, circle and shaped stickers, the background colour fills the whole shape. On die cut stickers, the cut follows the border around your artwork, and you can make that border thicker in the sticker settings. Keep text and small details a little in from the edge.

Files you send with a quote

If you send finished artwork with a quote request, extend the background at least 1/16 inch past the cut line, and keep text and logos at least 1/8 inch inside it.
